Richard and Shanti Duree have been teaching Energy Medicine classes for more than 30 years (Shanti was the co-teacher in the first healing class Donna ever attended, through the Touch for Health Foundation) so have a great deal of experience in teaching this subject. They have also observed and participated as faculty in many Innersource classes. This presentation offers an overview of some of the methods and mindsets they think will be most helpful for EEM practitioners presenting to their local communities, to other professionals, or at the CP. It will include topics such as how to teach from the energy of your own being rather than becoming mired in the mechanics of the techniques, how to establish a sense of safety in a class and in a practice, how to deal with meltdowns, how to stay present, how to refine your teaching skills, how to use the room and the stage, and how to be professional when another teacher is teaching. Donna hopes "everyone teaching for Innersource will take this class."  You will walk away more confident in your teaching ability because you have become more competent with that ability.

Richard and Shanti Duree are internationally known educators, authors, lecturers and healers. They have been involved in field of energy medicine and energy kinesiology for over 30 years and teach seminars worldwide at professional schools of energy medicine. They were both Touch for Health Instructor Trainers and served on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Specialized Kinesiologists. Richard is a Diplomat Master Kinesiologist and contributor to the books Touch for Health by Dr. John Thie, Stay Young by Dr. Ivan Popov and Energy Medicine by Donna Eden and David Feinstein, PhD. Shanti co-created and directed the Physical Therapy Center in Mill Valley California and trained as a Gestalt Movement Therapist under Dr. Pauldi Orlando. She has made an extensive study of shamanistic practices, working with Lynn V. Andrews and other shaman healers. Shanti and Richard worked with Dr. Ivan Popov, M.D. at the Renaissance Clinic, Nassau Bahamas, where they studied the effects of energy testing and balancing on stress and aging. Together they created Neuroenergetic Psychology (N.E.P.) a somatic psychology system, which they teach through the Neuroenergetic Psychology Institute based in Ashland, Oregon. Richard and Shanti also serve on the Board of Directors of the Neuroenergetic Psychology Foundation, a non-profit research and educational foundation created to research the effects of and educate the public in areas related to somatic psychology. They are both Eden Energy Medicine Practitioners and maintain private practices in Ashland, Oregon, Santa Barbara, California, and Bamberg, Germany.
