By enrolling in the
grid class, I agree to the following guidelines:
1. Only do grid work as the last
session of your day or otherwise arranged so that the session does not have to be cut off
by an arbitrary time limit. It is unpredictable where a grid session will go or how much
time it will require, and it is the one type of session that does not lend itself well to
being divided into segments.
2. While it may be tempting to hook
up grid points like you would hook up acupressure points or cloaccal points, be prepared
to allow the energy to move through you when you hold the grid points. This can be
challenging on your body, but when you have moved the energy through completely, it is
healing for the practitioner as well. Plus we know of no other way to do grid work
effectively. This means, for instance, that if you are not in good shape on the day the
appointment is scheduled, you need to tell the client that you cannot do a grid session
that day. While this can be awkward, inconvenient, and seem unprofessional, it is a deeper
form of being responsible because to do the session is to risk an unnecessary negative
outcome.
3. Make yourself available to the
client for several days after the session because when grid energy is released, the
emotional/energetic consequences of the session are often felt intensely in the days
following the session than during the session.
4. You are agreeing not to teach
grid work to other practitioners until you have gone through all of the steps that are
required in order to be listed on the Innersource Grid Practitioner Referral List. Also if
you do teach grid work to others, you use the kind of rigorous screening that you went
through before being accepted into the Innersource grid training (is the person sturdy
enough, energetically, to do grid work; is the person sensitive enough to attune
themselves to another persons energies; and is the person experienced and mature
enough to work with people at this level?).
5. You are agreeing not to create
handouts about grid work or handouts based in part on the handouts in this class, or
publish books or articles or papers about grid work, beyond summarizing or quoting what
Donna Eden has already made available to the general public, without explicit permission
from Donna.
