is an opportunity to begin that beginning with supervision and
also to form peer support that extends long after the workshop. The
class will be largely case-oriented, and there will be
opportunity to request supervision on your own difficult cases.

SHIFTING DEEPLY EMBEDDED PATTERNS

This class will cover key topics that have not been covered, or that deserve greater emphasis in the series of Energy Medicine classes taught by Donna Eden, and that will be part of the forthcoming Energy Medicine Home Study Video Series. This "Special Topics" class will include:

* Reaching Deeper Levels with the Meridians, the Chakras,
the Radiant Circuits, and the Five Rhythms
* The Electrical Points and Vortex Energies
* Gates and the Brazilian Toe Massage
* The Habit Fields that Hold the Energy Patterns You Want to
Change (Morphogenic Fields)
* Working with "Seed Cells" When a Correction Won't Hold

The pre-requisites for this class:

* A Five-Day Basic Training (exceptions are occasionally made for people with healing backgrounds, who have also done the equivalent of a 5-day Basic Training through the independent study of Donna's book Energy Medicine, videotapes, shorter classes, and
study groups).
* The Radiant Circuits ("Freeing the Spirit"), through the Sedona class, the Kiawah advanced class, or real study of the "Freeing the Spirit" videotapes.

Holding points to sedate and strengthen specific meridians,
and knowing which points need attention based on the 5 rhythms,
is one of the most elegant and powerful procedures within
Energy Medicine. While these methods have been taught in other
classes (introduced in the 5-Day Basic Training and expanded in Energy
Tracker and 5 Rhythms), this class will give them more focus, will
allow lots of time for practice, and will leave you feeling confident
and capable with the techniques. It will be taught in two parts:

Part I: The 5 Rhythm Model for working with Sedating and
Strengthening Points. 1) learning the pulses, including the
use of the circulation-sex meridian test, 2) the "billiard-ball"
strategies based on the 5 Rhythm Wheel, and 3) When do you
use sedating vs. strengthening points?

Part II: Practice, practice, practice. Learning the points.
Learning how to find the different sets of points for the meridians,
how to hold them, what you are sensing while you are doing it, how
long to hold them, and sensing when they connect.

Interweaving Energy Medicine and Massage Therapy:
Energy Medicine for Massage Therapists

In this class Janee will share the blending of therapeutic
soft-tissue techniques with energy medicine that has made
her work unique. General ways of incorporating energy medicine
into relaxation massage will be covered, along with a focus on
specific conditions such as sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome,
TMJ, and more. The interweaving of energetic systems and
physical structure is a delicious dance, and stepping into
that tango greatly expands a massage therapist's effectiveness.

This class is designed for trained massage therapists who have
been in practice for any length of time. Ease in the use of
anatomical terms is a plus, as well as a solid understanding
of the meridians, strange flows, chakras, neurolymphatics, five
elements, etc.

An Introduction to Energy Psychology

ENERGY PSYCHOLOGY shows you how to stimulate certain energy
points on your body at the same time that you have brought to mind
a psychological problem or goal you would like to address.
This facilitates—with surprising precision and effectiveness—
desired changes in emotion, thought, and behavior.
A growing number of professionals believe that the ability
of energy psychology to non-invasively shift electromagnetic
processes in the brain makes it the most exciting development
to emerge from the mental health field in the past decade. Its
implications are also proving to reach far beyond
psychotherapy—into education, business, and family life.

This class WILL NOT make you a therapist if you are not
already a therapist. It is not designed for treating serious
psychological problems. What it will do is give you basic
tools for overcoming emotional and behavioral patterns that get in
your way and for supporting you energetically when you set
your sights on a personal goal. The approach featured will be
Gary Craig’s Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with a Donna Eden
slant. It is an introductory class that will mix theory, an
overview of the existing research, and practice with the
basic procedures. Prerequisites: An ability to energy check
using an indicator muscle and a knowledge of the
5-minute daily routine (Chapters 2 and 3 of Energy Medicine).
