| David Feinstein is a clinical psychologist who has done
pioneering work in the areas of personal mythology and energy psychology. Author of 6
books and over 50 professional papers, he has taught at The Johns Hopkins University
School of Medicine and Antioch College. His multi-media Energy Psychology Interactive program
was a recipient of the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Association for
Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
Donna Eden, able from childhood
to clairvoyantly see the body’s subtle energies, has emerged as one of the
world’s foremost healers and a master teacher of energy medicine. Her enthusiastic
demonstrations of the body’s subtle energies and how to work with them for enhancing
health, happiness, and vitality are legendary. A deeply loving and joyful personality,
Donna has treated over 10,000 clients individually and has taught hundreds of classes,
speaking to packed houses throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand,
and South America.
Gary Craig is the founder of
Emotional Freedom Techniques, the most widely used single approach to energy psychology,
and has been doing energy healing work since 1991. He is a Stanford engineering graduate,
a Certified Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, and an ordained minister
with the non-denominational Universal Church of God in Southern California. He has been
intensely interested in personal improvement via psychology since age 13, and teaches
Emotional Freedom Techniques world-wide. |

| The Promise of Energy Psychology introduces
the basic concepts and practices of this important new clinical development. By working
with the body’s energies, it is possible to rapidly and non-invasively shift
neurology, to literally change the patterns in the brain that maintain unwanted habits,
maladaptive emotions, and self-limiting ways of thinking. Promise addresses a wide
range of topics, from the treatment of emotional problems (anxiety, irrational fear,
trauma reactions, depression, and addictions are all addressed) to cultivating potentials
and peak performance to increasing "emotional intelligence." The reader comes to
understand the body’s energy systems and learns ways of working with them to bring
harmony and balance to emotions, thoughts, and behavior and literally reprogram the
body’s response to stress. |
