The EPI program is
particularly well-suited for study with a partner or within a small group. A study group
may consist of two or more members. It may be done face-to-face or it may be done via
e-mail.
In a face-to-face group, you can practice the techniques with one
another. In an e-mail arrangement, you need to find practice partners besides your e-mail
colleague. But these practice partners do not need to be professionals in the field, and
you and your e-mail colleague can use one another for feedback and reflection. One way to
find an e-mail study partner is to join the free Energy Psychology Interactive e-discussion
group (details on the CD) and let others know of your interest.
A suggested way of conducting a face-to-face study group is:
1. Set a meeting place and time (1½ to 3 hours for each meeting) held
2 to 4 times a month.
2. Beginning with the Introduction, each member goes through the same
module on the CD (backed by the book) prior to each study group session.
3. The study group is used to a) discuss that module, b) do the
practice sessions with one another that were presented in that module, and c) reflect on
the experience.
4. Also consider joining the EPI e-discussion group to further reflect
on your experiences.
Extra Incentive (note: this offer does
not apply for formal college or graduate school classes):
